Viv, Gary and Benji (15 months)

Viv, Gary and Benji (15 months)

This is Benjamin (Benji), our miracle baby, who is turning 15 months in a few days. Benji was eventually conceived after seven years of conventional infertility treatment with the help of a homeopath and two months of reflexology. Benji's sister is almost 12 years old, and was used to being an only child until he came long and touched our hearts. I continued with reflexology throughout my pregnancy knowing my age (45 yrs) would count against me in body terms, but I coped well and planned for a Caesar. Benji is calm and a real sweetie.

Gentle in nature, his only downfall was his sleeping pattern until about a month ago when we were introduced to Baby Love. Our lives have become our own again which has enabled the entire family to sleep through the night.

We stuck it out and Benji now sleeps from 7:00 pm to about 6:00 am (11 hrs). In the beginning it was difficult to remove his habit of bottles of milk or water from his sleeping pattern, day and night. He seems to be in a deeper and more satisfying sleep. He has grown very attached to his favourite teddy, which he cuddles as he goes down, talking himself to sleep or singing sweetly. His day sleeps as a result have become more regular and longer and he lets us know within an hour that he needs to snooze!

Thank you Baby Love for giving us the tools and courage to face what we stupidly put off for too long - the sooner the sleep routine is put in place, the better for everyone concerned. We are blessed with a miracle baba who gets even more love because we are no longer exhausted!
