On the following pages, Baby Love 'graduate' families share their stories of encouragement and success with you. These families have personally experienced the negative implications of sleep deprivation and they have personally implemented our sleep training and are now reaping the benefits of well rested nights which results in a happy family!
My son Weylin was 7 months when we went to see Chantell Roemer on the 9th June 2007. He had a feeding routine and nothing else. I had to rock him to sleep and that was only if he was ready to sleep. It could take anything from 15min to 1hr before he was asleep. He woke every 2 to 3 hours at night just for his dummy and feed 1 to 2 times in the middle of the night. He wasn't a very happy child, spent most of his time crying from being over tired and over stimulated. Once Chantell had helped us set out a new daily routine for Weylin I knew he would take to it quickly. The first four days were the hardest and I spent the first 2 crying non stop, but I stuck to it and by day 6 he was sleeping through, his appetite increased and he had a smile permanently stuck to his face. By the second week he would fall asleep straight away when I put him down for a nap and woke when it was time to. If at night he woke up looking for his dummy he would find it himself. So life for Weylin and me has been getting better and better with each day. He plays by himself happily so I am able to do house work or what ever needs to be done, if he wants me to play with him he would crawl to me and show me he wanted me. He started walking on the 9th of August and didn't want help if he fell, and now he is walking by himself non stop, he is talking more and showing more of his personality. If it wasn't for Chantell and the Baby Love course I don't think Weylin would be the happy baby he is today and as for me, it's made me a better mom. So Thank You
