Abigail Grundlingh (10 months)

Abigail Grundlingh (10 months)

When I first contacted Baby Love I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought my 10 month old girl had a good routine and knew what was expected of her and when, but I just couldn't understand why she wouldn't sleep at night. She woke up every hour or so and wouldn't go back to sleep unless I gave her a sip of tea and made sure she had her blanky.

Needless to say the dummy patrol went on all evening. We saw Cilna and she advised us to move her out of our room as soon as we started the program. I thought she was going to suffer from a bad case of separation anxiety which she did on the first day. We decided not to go for the soft touch approach but to show some tough love in the hopes of getting better results. The first day was rough as I also cried while my baby was crying in the room next to me whilst refusing to sleep.

But as a sleep deprived and pregnant (again) woman I knew I had to do something as I was living dangerously on the edge of losing my mind. We pushed onward and I can honestly say that the program works if you follow it strictly for the first couple of days. It is now 21 days later and Abigail soothes herself back to sleep and doesn't cry for her dummy, blanky or tea. I can honestly recommend the Baby Love program to any sleep deprived parent. My husband and I can spend time together knowing that Abigail is a happier baby since we implemented Baby Love.

Thank you Cilna and Baby Love!

Kind Regards,
Marli Grundlingh
