Anna Hickman (6 months)

Anna Hickman (6 months)

When Anna was born, I was in for quite a surprise. She was colicky and had reflux, which means that she cried A LOT and slept very little. The colic eventually passed after 3 months, but by that time her sleep patterns where a mess. It got to the point where she would wake up every hour, if not more.

Sleep deprivation is no joke and I was only just coping with hubby and I alternating nights. After 6 months of little to no sleep, I was ready to sleep train, I was just so unsure of what to do during the day. My main concern is that she would not eat enough during the day and be hungry at night, and what would I do about napping?

I heard about Baby Love from Baby Builders classes Anna and I were attending and decided to give Nikki a call. My first step in the right direction! The Baby Love program is simple and easy to understand. The implementation is not that easy, as it involves quite a bit of crying, but it is totally worth it in the end. Anna started sleeping better at night from day one. She does still wake up sometimes, but usually goes back to sleep on her own within 5 min. She is still not a great napper, but at least we now have a good routine in place. She is now able to go to sleep on her own and I can be sure that her nutritional needs are being met during the day (no more snacking - a downside of relux!!)

We are a happier family now that we are all getting some quality sleep. Thank you Baby Love!
