Grace Cuthbert (8½ months)

Grace Cuthbert (8½ months)

Hi Linda,

Thank you so much for all your help and support.

Our little Grace was born in May 2014. She was a little Angel, never cried unnecessary, had her milkies every 4hrs and slept in between feeds. She's a good traveller and so patient with her Mommy and Daddy who are feeling their way in the dark.

Our sleeping problem started with me rocking and singing to her until she fell asleep, after which I would sit with her in my arms for about half an hour at least just looking at her and soaking her in. Then she would wake up once a night at which point we would give her a bottle, sometimes she wanted it, other times she would push it away and just fall asleep again. Then at about 8.5months old she would wake up, have her milk & not go back to sleep for 2-3hrs, which is where our sleep deprivation started. This carried on for 6 weeks during which we went to visit family overseas which of course messed up her routine completely.

Eventually we call Linda crying for help! We learned so much about routine and sleeping and we decided to start implementing the Baby Love program the very next day. We also changed Grace’s day routine completely with which the school she goes to was very accommodating.

I read through all the other success stories and thought: "if it could work for them, I'm sure it will work for us"

It took 1 night!!!! It was very hard to listen to our precious baby cry but since then, it has been bliss, amazing, life changing sleep for all of us. Through teething and colds - just wonderful!!!

Any advice from our side??? Go as a couple to see Linda (your consultant) so that you can work together and keep each other calm during that crying phase. And persist with consistency.

Our next baby will definitely start the Baby Love program as soon as we can.

Michelle & Gary Cuthbert.
