Jason Croft (8 months)
The Baby Love program changed my family's lives and I can't thank them enough!!!! I recommend it to any parent with a baby.
Jason decided to enter into our world a little early at 34 weeks. Right from the time he came home from the hospital he wasn't a good sleeper. He woke up often and some nights would be awake for 2-3 hours at a time. As he got older I remember going through a stage where he would wake up every hour or so at night. It almost killed me.
By the time we got to 8 months I was so tired although he was only waking up twice a night for a feed and would get a bottle and go back to sleep it was still killing me waking all the time and then being awake from 5am again and then having to work. I called Marlene from Baby Love as a friend had used the Baby Love program successfully so I decided to give it a bash. Marlene sat down with me and went through the program, what set my mind at ease was that she was always available with every question I had (whatsapp became my friend).
I implemented the Baby Love program a little slower than most other moms. I first changed the day time feeding routine and then we started putting him down too sleep at the correct times (a lot of crying at first) and then I took away the night time feed. The first three days he cried a lot and it was difficult (for him and for me) but then it started getting easier. It took 10 days for him to really settle and I am happy to say that Jason now puts himself to sleep for naps and bedtime and now will only wake at night if he isn't feeling well and he sleeps till 6:30 am (I know can you believe). Every now and again at naps he protests a little but in general he has learned it is now 'dudu' time.
Thank you Baby Love
