Roux Wilhelm (10 months)

Roux Wilhelm (10 months)

Roux was 10 months old when we started the Baby Love programme with him and the first day was death on biscuits! Or so we thought, when we sat down and looked at how long he cried before he fell asleep we found out that the time from putting him down to him falling asleep was decreasing dramatically. By the night sleep on Day 2 there was no crying what so ever! It has been like this ever since, I think it is around 3 months now. What a transformation!! Now when we take him into the room for DuDu time, there are times that we can hardly finish our DuDu Time ritual and he just wants to get into his cot. He lies in his cot and chats for a while and then he is asleep. After day 2 on the programme, Roux started sleeping through the night. This after him waking up every hour and crying for at least 15 minutes after you picked him up, then it would be a case of sissing him to sleep again. As I said, WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!!!!! Yooohhhhoooo!!!!!

We put Roux down at 18:30 at night and he wakes up at around 06:00 the next morning. Halllloooo! For his nap times, still 2 a day, most days we have to wake him after the hour and a half is up. As I said he lies in his cot and chats and plays, but there is no performance, it is peaceful and happy.

If I could give any advice to other parents, it is, the sooner you do the Baby Love programme the better. You do not have to suffer for months on end. I feel we could have done the programme sooner with Roux, it would have just been a much better time for Mom and Dad.

Parents who are struggling with their child's routine and sleep, should do themselves a favour and complete the Baby Love programme. Stick with it and you will be amazed at the transformation in yourselves and that of your child. Sleep is such a wonderful thing!!

Kind Regards and yours in sleep
Pierre Wilhelm
