Jaiden Pelser (11 months)

Jaiden Pelser (11 months)

Dear Jacqui

You are a miracle worker!!!! We went from parents who slept on the outer corners of our own bed with a baby that refused to sleep unless his mom lay pretending to sleep next to him, to parents that put our son in his cot, he blows us kisses as we walk out his door and that's that. He NEVER cries when put down and is happy in his own room.

When we had our session we were both so skeptical about doing this as we fell on the extreme left hand side of parenting. Jaiden ruled us..... with a 14 year age gap between him and our daughter he was the centre of attention in our home. By implementing the sleep training we actually set boundaries with him that has flowed through to the rest of our parenting style. We are now more in the middle, with Jaiden still being our angel but not the only important person in our home.

The first day of implementing the sleep training I sat on the steps crying as Jaiden lay in his cot screaming. I threatened to take him and run away as my husband kept telling me to let him be, but by the second day Jaiden cried for 15 minutes (which let me tell you feels like 15 hours), but by that night he was "trained".

We have never looked back and our friends and family all keep saying what a pleasure it is coming to visit us, as when we go to put him to bed it is kisses and cuddles, we put him in his cot and we walk out, with him never uttering a sound after that. This leaves us free to entertain and enjoy each others company as we are not sitting listening all the time for him to wake up.

Thanks so much for everything and keep making parents and their babies happy and well rested.
